It can be booked in its entirety by groups or families who enjoy birding, camping, hiking and photography. An Exclusive Bushwalking Experience
Simbavati Trails Camp is best known for its world-class walking tours. A trail-based safari will allow you to immerse yourself in the mesmerising sights, sounds and smells of the African bush. Enjoy a 3 to 4 hour leisurely walk in the morning and 2-hour walk in the afternoons with an armed specialist guide to experience the African wilderness from a ground level perspective on foot. Not only will you track wildlife, but you will also learn about the environment which includes learning the uses of a variety of flora and how to identify tracks of different animals. Spot the Big Five, as well as an array of other wildlife including giraffe, kudu and hundreds of bird species.

- A maximum of three safari vehicles are allowed at any one sighting, avoiding overcrowding and making for a top-notch safari experience.

Located in a secluded area of the Timbavati Game Reserve, Simbavati Trails Camp borders a vast and beautiful unspoilt wilderness area stretching over 11, 000 hectares into the renowned Kruger National Park. Set out on foot with a knowledgeable guide to discover Africa’s incredible fauna and flora, spot a wide variety of bird life with over 360 recorded bird species, including kingfishers, herons, weavers and raptors; or, if you’re lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the rare white lions that call Timbavati home.
