Our Team
Luci
Once Luci completed her university business degree, she did as all good Aussies do – moved to London. The experience changed her perception of life completely so going back to the sleepy town she called home was no longer an option. From there she has lived in Toronto Canada, Sydney Australia and now calls Cape Town home. From her very first safari experience in the Pilansberg National Park, Luci has been hooked on the thrill of the Landcruiser, never knowing what is in store once setting off on that day’s game drive. You won’t find anyone more excited (or jealous) for your African adventure than her.
Nicole
Nicole was born and bred in South Africa’s Freestate Province. It wasn’t long before she set her sights on bigger things, seeing her travelling to over 60 countries. Nicole has always had a love for travel and worked in the travel industry for over 12 years. She is a keen animal lover and tries to get to the bush as often as possible. Fun fact- Nicole also works as a professional photographer!
Janine
Janine is a South African local who grew up spending her vacation days in Kruger National Park, where her family had a holiday home. Her African travels have taken her on safari in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Tanzania; gorilla trekking in Uganda; and to the beautiful island destinations of Mauritius, Zanzibar, Lamu, Bazaruto archipelago, the Quirimbas, The Maldives, The Seychelles and Madagascar. She currently lives in Cape Town and spends all of her free time enjoying the outdoors. Whenever she is able, she heads off on a road trip through South Africa with her husband and daughter experiencing all of the amazing things this country has to offer: the mountains, beaches, wildlife reserves and more.
Thea
Thea grew up in a small town in South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province, where she developed a love for animals, as well as the finer things in life. After finishing school, she studied hospitality and worked in luxury hotels and resorts across Europe and South Africa. She took a short break to work in the creative industry but is now back in travel and the luxury safari industry, having spent several years working for the ultra-luxury lodge group, Singita, where she specialising in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Rwandan safaris. Thea has a passion for conservation and sustainability within the African wilderness. Thea is currently based in Cape Town where you can find her, and her poodle Phoebe, enjoying life to the fullest.
Clyde
Clyde was born just outside the Kruger National Park and lived at Londolozi until he was 5, where his father was a guide and tracker for over 8 years. He developed his love of the bush at a very early age and often dreamed of being a safari guide. He qualified as a FGASA 1 safari guide and apprentice trail guide through EcoTraining in his 20s. On the weekends you’ll find Clyde paddling his surf ski in Cape town’s cool Atlantic waters, or hiking Table Mountain with friends.
