Lolebezi is set on five hectares of protected land along the banks of the Lower Zambezi River. The lodge provides guests with a unique and breath-taking wilderness experience with some of the best wildlife sightings in the world. Visitors can expect luxury, classic elegance, and an authenticity that can only be found in the African bush. Each of the six suites boast a private plunge pool with a riverfront view, the perfect window into the bush. The name of the lodge is derived from the owner’s son, “Lole”, and the mighty “Zambezi River”. This incredible destination can be explored on foot, on a game drive or sunset cruise down the river with one of the highly skilled and experienced guides. The area is famous for its thriving leopard population, elephant and buffalo herds that like to congregate along the river, not to mention other favourites like lion and hyena.

The Rooms

Lolebezi is designed for both romantic and family bush getaways. The lodge has six suites comprising of two family units and four superior suites, each of which are fully air-conditioned and have a little plunge pool leading off each of the suites to keep cool and refreshed in the beautiful, hot, dry, African heat.

Lolebezi is located along the Lower Zambezi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is the ideal destination for the eco-conscious traveller. The lodge is powered by an off-the-grid solar farm, and the water supply and wastewater are managed to ensure that no pollution gets into the river. The lodge has special climate control systems all over to ensure that guests are kept comfortable but still being mindful of being energy efficient.
