The Rooms
Shangri-La Le Touessrok boasts 189 rooms and suites plus three beach villas, five restaurants, and three bars. Accommodation is split up into four types depending on guest requirements:

Bathrooms are all beautifully decked out with marble finishes, and most rooms have a small couch, TV, safe, hi-fi, mini-bar, and tea/coffee station in them for added comfort and convenience.

Community Outreach
Supporting local communities is one of the Shangri La’s core values rooted in its Asian heritage. Most recently the group donated 300 containers as temporary homes to those affected by the earthquake in Hatay, Türkiye. This little temporary shelter formed was donned “Friendship City” where people were provided with much-needed shelter and a chance to start putting their lives back together. Donations were made by employees in the group worldwide and matched by the Hotel Group. The Group is committed to good corporate citizenship and sustainable development and making a positive impact on their communities.
What We Love
What we think makes Shangri-La Le Touessrok unique and very loveable is the private access to the hotel’s own private island, the vast array of fun activities to choose from, but above all the overall atmosphere of relaxation in the most serene surroundings. Shangri-La Le Touessrok has twice been voted the best hotel in the world, and we can see why as it’s situated in the best location to enjoy all the white coral beaches and the turquoise water is positively out of this world. Their restaurant offering is also exceptional.

Where To Find Shangri-La Le Touessrok
Shangri-La Le Touessrok is in a small seaside village called Trou d’Eau Douce which is on the East coast of Mauritius. The resort is roughly 45 km from the airport and 49 km from the capital Port Louis, a mere hour by car or ten minutes by helicopter.
