Endangered Species and Wildlife Conservation
The renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest rhino sanctuary outside of South Africa. It is home to many endangered species, including the black and white rhino and the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos, protected round the clock by park rangers. It is also home to a sanctuary for over 40 rescued chimpanzees. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the camp’s profound conservation ethos, learn about its pioneering projects and get the children involved and entertained with the junior ranger program.
Wildlife Activities
Visitors can look forward to watching an array of African wildlife on the riverbank right from the camp. Enjoy a plethora of exciting activities, including game drives, night drives, lion tracking, horse riding safaris, cultural tours, bird watching, and a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary – a true highlight for the whole family.
What We Love
The warm, friendly staff and a relaxed camp atmosphere add to the charm of Ol Pejeta. The mouth-watering meals are served in the communal tented dining area and feature home-style cuisine with a gourmet twist made from fresh, organic produce and meat sourced from surrounding community ranches. After a delicious dining experience, guests can cosy up on the outdoor seating around a campfire under the African stars and reflect on yet another glorious day in the African bush.
