Named after the Setswana word meaning 'paradise', Kanana Lodge is a luxury camp set in the southwest of Botswana's renowned Okavango Delta. The Rooms

The luxurious accommodations include seven charming yet spacious Meru-style tents and one family tent set on elevated teak decks and offer magnificent views of the Okavango Delta. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and luxurious fittings as well as individual private verandas.

Guests of this lodge have a front-row seat to the annual floods, which transform parts of this private concession into a water wonderland. Exploring the delta’s beautiful waterways and aquatic wildlife by boat or traditional mokoro is an absolute highlight. This area is a bird lover’s paradise, with Kanana hosting a seasonal heronry – one of the largest in Southern Africa. Fishing for tilapia, African pike, and sharptooth catfish is highly recommended.

Delight in magnificent game sightings, including predators such as lion, leopard and wild dog during the day, and catch a glimpse of nocturnal creatures during night drives in open safari vehicles.
