The Rooms
The property’s 47 rooms and suites are characterised by high arches and barrel-vault ceilings, which create a sense of simple grandeur. Handcrafted teak furniture, African carvings, art and bold patterns add colour and texture to the natural tones. The elegant rooms have private terraces overlooking the magnificent Chobe River and spacious en suite bathrooms.
Exceptional Game Viewing
Guests can spend fun-filled days on thrilling safaris seeking out the Big Five and exploring the reserve on land by vehicle and on the river by boat. Apart from boasting the largest elephant population in Africa, there is an abundance of lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah – to name a few. Don’t miss the opportunity to spot the rare aquatic red lechwe, or the indigenous Chobe bushbuck.
Relax and Unwind
Between exciting game viewing activities, the poolside terrace is a great spot to unwind, or escape to many peaceful, private, comfortably furnished viewing decks. Indulge in a massage, cruise down the river at sunset, cocktails in hand. After dinner, enjoy a game of billiards in the cigar bar or a nightcap on your private balcony overlooking the moonlit river.
What We Love
We love the eco-conscious, pioneering spirit. Chobe Game Lodge is among the first of just a few of Botswana's properties to be rated fully ecotourism-certified and the first electric-powered safari operator. In November 2014, the Chobe Game Lodge launched the first electric game-drive vehicle and electric-powered safari boat in Africa. The fleet is up to four electric-powered boats and four electric vehicles which silently move through the environment offering guests a unique safari experience.
Where To Find Chobe Game Lodge
