The property’s 47 rooms and suites are characterised by high arches and barrel-vault ceilings, which create a sense of simple grandeur. Handcrafted teak furniture, African carvings, art and bold patterns add colour and texture to the natural tones. Guests can spend fun-filled days on thrilling safaris seeking out the Big Five and exploring the reserve on land by vehicle and on the river by boat. Chobe Game Lodge is among the first of just a few of Botswana's properties to be rated fully ecotourism-certified and the first electric-powered safari operator. In November 2014, the Chobe Game Lodge launched the first electric game-drive vehicle and electric-powered safari boat in Africa. The fleet is up to four electric-powered boats and four electric vehicles which silently move through the environment offering guests a unique safari experience.
