The Rooms
Shaded by majestic trees and surrounded by lush riverine bush, Tanda Tula safari camp offers 12 private luxurious East African style tents set on raised platforms with a viewing deck overlooking the winding riverbed. Tanda Tula safari tents are elegantly decorated in earthy tones, boasting spacious ensuite bathrooms with a Victorian bathtub and a romantic outdoor shower. Other accommodation includes the more rustic Field Camp or the private Nkarhi Homestead – all imbued with the romance of a traditional East African Safari.

Tanda Tula is home to Africa’s Big Five; with over 20,000 hectares of wilderness and undisturbed biodiversity to explore, guests are guaranteed an incredible wildlife experience. Tanda Tula Safari Camp is located in the wildlife-rich Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, forming part of the world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga. The camp is a 45-minute picturesque drive from Hoedspruit Airport and a 15-minute drive from Timbavati Rockfig Airstrip. The attractions of the breathtaking God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes are a 1-hour and 30-minute drive away.
