The Rooms
Consisting of 18 rooms, Lion Sands River Lodge offers 4 river suites, each with their own plunge pool, 6 superior luxury suites, and 8 luxury suites. Each suite has its own private wooden viewing deck overlooking the Sabi River and magnificent African bush. Watch wildlife from the comfort of your own en suite room and enjoy an outdoor shower in the superior luxury and river suites.
Safari Adventures
Famous for its incredible leopard sightings, Sabi Sands does not disappoint. Set out in an open 4×4 safari vehicle with an expert ranger and tracker team to track and spot these elusive creatures. Usually seen at night, leopard sightings are not uncommon on day drives in this area.
Daily Excursions
Each houseboat has a minimum of three smaller tender boats for use on a number of daily excursions. Visitors can look forward to a guided cultural tour of a local village and, for the more adventurous, a walking tour to a 2000-year-old baobab tree. Spot four-metre-long crocodiles, view families of hippo or catch a glimpse of over 500 bird species found in this wetland paradise.
