The accommodation at the lodge includes nine individually-styled, comfortable rooms. The bedrooms are decorated in earthy tones with traditional Ugandan elements. The Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge lies in the southern sector of the famed Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to 80% of the mountain gorilla population in Uganda. Where To Find Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge
This lodge is located in the Kisoro District in southwestern Uganda in the southern sector of the famed Bwindi Impenetrable Forest around 1793 metres above sea level.The UNESCO-listed Bwindi Impenetrable National Park boasts exceptional biodiversity, with more than 160 tree species and over 100 species of ferns. It is home to over 400 gorillas. Aside from gorillas, visitors home to an array of elephants, duikers, bush pigs, buffaloes, clawless otters, side-striped jackals, civets, bats and much more. Visitors can track gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, spot golden monkeys in the nearby Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and enjoy an educational experience with the Batwa Pygmies.
