The Rooms
There are six en-suite villas to choose from, in the most exquisite forest setting, with spacious verandas opening out onto the most breathtaking scenery. Each of the villas are designed in the traditions of Rwandan royalty and are nestled into the slopes of an eroded volcanic crater.
Wildlife and Conservation
What is also very special about staying here is that through Bisate’s vision of reforestation and rehabilitation, each guest contributes to biodiversity conservation and local community upliftment to protect the mountain gorillas so there is a feel-good element to visiting too.
Rich Culture and Incredible Nature Offering
Bisate Lodge, set in this precious area of the world, is so unique and special, there really is nothing else quite like it. The attention to detail, world-class service, and awe-inspiring scenery will delight and inspire you.
What We Love
Bisate Lodge offers guests the feeling of seclusion, space and being part of the pristine landscape. There is an abundance of nature to listen to and enjoy whilst relaxing with all the comforts one could dream of, including a wonderful spa perfect for couple treatments after a long day out exploring and hiking.
Where To Find Bisate Lodge
Bisate Lodge is situated in north-west Rwanda, East Africa, on the slopes of an eroded volcanic crater adjacent to the Volcanoes National Park. The word bisate means ‘pieces’ in Kinyarwanda, describing how the cone was once whole but worn away by natural erosion.
