Perched high above the breathtaking Maasai Mara National Reserve, this luxury all-inclusive lodge rests on the edge of the Great Rift Valley on one of the most sought-after sites in Africa. Angama Mara comprises two separate and intimate camps, seamlessly blending the romance of an African safari experience with luxurious accommodation.
The Rooms
The lodge boasts olive-coloured canvas, tented suites. The two camps each have 15 tented suites, all designed by the architect duo Silvio Rech, Lesley Carstens, and ‘Canvas King’ – Jan Allan. The elegant and classically-designed interiors offer 11-metre wide floor-to-ceiling glass fronts, which open onto a private deck creating the perfect spot from which to take in the breathtaking views of the Maasai Mara below. The suites are decorated with warm wood natural materials and textures with splashes of the iconic Maasai red. They all boast spacious ensuite bathrooms with stunning views.
Float Above The Maasai Mara
Enjoy a cup of locally-produced Kenyan coffee in the crisp morning air before setting off in a hot air balloon for a once in a lifetime adventure. Watch the sunrise with a bird’s eye view of life on the plains, then float back down to earth for a romantic champagne breakfast.
Wildlife and Local Culture
Guests can tailor-make their own experience at Agama Mara, which could include fascinating guided nature walks and thrilling game drives – where visitors can see the iconic Big Five among a plethora of other wildlife and bird species. Other not-to-be-missed activities include hiking, picnics, or visiting a Maasai traditional homestead where one can learn about local history and culture, indigenous culture or take in a performance by Maasai warriors at the sundowner boma at the lodge.

Where To Find Angama Mara
